Tyrone Crystal
| The Art of making Crystal is not new to Tyrone as it was in 1771 that Benjamin Edwards opened a glass house at Drumreagh (Just 2 Miles from the present Tyrone Crystal Factory) The centuries old tradition was re-established in the area through the efforts of the Rev. Austin Eustice. | ![]() Old Glass House |

It was his dream, set up to provide employment for local young people, that in 1971 registered as a company. Initially practising with old cutting wheels on empty whiskey bottles and jam jars. The company engaged the services of a master glassblower from Austria to train the workforce and the company continued to grow into what it is today. Tyrone Crystal now manufactures its "Superior Crystal" from raw materials as well as cutting and decorating. |
