| Irish Whiskey uisce beatha ("Water
of Life" in Gaelic) It doesn't really matter by what name you call
it Irish Whiskey is one of those fine things in life which requires the
need for you to partake in order to determine for yourself just what all
the fuss is about. There are a number of ways to Drink Irish whiskey "Irish Coffee" in colder weather or a "Hot One" made from boiling water with lemon, cloves and sugar. You can drink in "On the Rocks" (With Ice) or include it in your favourite cocktail. But by far the best way is to savor it neat, no ice, no mixer, no nothing, just plain and simple so that the full enjoyment of this "Blessed elixir of the Gods" may be quietly enjoyed. |

in many varieties. Brand classics such as Jameson, Midleton, Bushmills,
and Powers are fine examples to be enjoyed should you fancy a tipple. Or
alternatively enjoy a tour of the
Old Bushmills Distillery
in Co. Antrim or the John Jameson's Bow Street Distillery in Dublin's
Smithfield area. |
